We may also supplement the information we collect with information obtained from other companies. To the extent we link personal information from third parties with the information we collect, we will treat that information as Personal Information under this Privacy Policy. For example, we may use services from other companies that enable us to derive a general geographic area based on your IP address, geo-targeted search or other location based information in order to customize certain services to your geographic area.

EPC may disclose your personal information in the good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, or to comply with legal processes or enforceable government request served on us; (b) enforce applicable Terms of Use including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues, or (d) protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of SGF, our employees, users of our products or services, or members of the public as required or permitted by law.

Buyer or Transferee:
EPC may disclose and/or transfer your personal information to a buyer or transferee of all or a portion of its assets in conjunction with the sale or transfer of such assets; however, we will provide notice on our Website before Personal Information is transferred or becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

Cookies:
When you use the Website, a cookie may be sent to your browser. A cookie is a small text file sent by a website’s computer system that is stored on your computer’s hard drive. A cookie typically contains, among other things, the name of the cookie, a unique identification number, and an expiration date and domain name information. Cookies may be “session-only” or “persistent”. Persistent cookies last for more than one visit and are typically used to allow a visitor to our Website to personalize their experience. Cookies are a commonly used technology on the Internet, and they are used in EPC’s search functionality. You are always free to set your browser to decline cookies, and you can delete cookies from your computer. However, disabling cookies may adversely affect your ability to use the Website or the Services. See your browser’s “Help” file for more details on cookies.

EPC uses outside advertising agencies and internal methods to display advertisements on the Website and Services. Such advertisements may also contain cookies. Cookies may be used to recognize you, as well as to track Website usage. These cookies are stored on your computer’s hard drive, and help to establish usage trends and to tailor Website content and develop further enhancements. Advertisers and other third parties and/or affiliates’ use of cookies and pixel tracking (discussed below) are subject to their own privacy policies. We do not control the use of cookies and pixel tracking by such entities and encourage you to read their privacy policies.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. For example, if you personalize a Web page, or navigate within a Website, a cookie helps the Website to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of delivering relevant content, eases Website navigation, and so on. When you return to the Website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the Website’s features that you customized.

Pixel Tracking:
EPC may employ a common technique usually referred to as “Pixel Tracking” to measure the effectiveness of marketing and advertisements, as well as compile aggregate usage statistics. Pixel tracking, which may be used in connection with advertisements on other sites, on our Website or in e-mail messages, involves the use of pixel tags (also known as “Clear Gifs,” “Web Beacons” or “1-By-1 Gifs”) that are not visible to the user of the site and consist of a few lines of computer coding. For example, if you visit our Website from an advertisement on another Website, the pixel tag will reference the cookie you received when you clicked on the advertisement. The pixel tag may also register this activity with a business partner to allow us to count the number of times or when an advertisement is accessed. This data is collected for use in our marketing and research. Personally identifiable information about you is not collected by Pixel tracking, nor is any tracking information generated from the pixel tag allowed to be used for any other purpose other than to report Website activity to us.

Links to Other Sites:
The Website and the Services may contain windows or hyperlinks which provide access to other Websites not affiliated with EPC. Your use of an external website or any informational content found on an external website is subject to and governed by the terms and guidelines of said external website. EPC does not make any representations or warranties concerning, and will not in any way liable for, any informational content, products, services, software, or other materials available on an external website, even if one or more pages of the external website are framed within a page of the EPC Website or Services. EPC is not responsible for the privacy practices of any external website. For your protection, please refer to the privacy policies of the respective external websites.

We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to safeguard the information EPC collects via the Website and Services. EPC does not, however, guarantee that information collected via the Website and Services is or will be completely secure from misappropriation by hackers or from other dishonest or criminal activities, or in the event of a failure of computer hardware, software, or a telecommunications network. If at some point you have a user name and password for any of the features on our Website or in connection with our Services, you have the responsibility of keeping your password secret. You should not reveal your password to anyone, and we will not ask you in an unsolicited telephone call or e-mail for your password.
